Hi Alicia,

I’ve had a look and from what I can see, your certificate chain is good, your server certificate is good, your server is happy with TLSv1.2, so the only thing I can think of is possibly user error? I would recommend enforcing the exact user realm in your ‘Inner Identity Handling’ options in the CAT admin interface; that way you eliminate realm-less usernames, because users are required by the app to add the realm to their username. From what I can see in your profile, that enforcement option is not set :-)

Kind Regards

You don't often get email from amarques AT vccs.edu. Learn why this is important

Hi Stefan,

My org is running into a similar issue with some Android users not being able to connect to eduroam with the CAT tool. Do you have any suggestions for things we can check with our CAT profile, or what kind of issues there might be?

Thanks,

Hi Mehmet,

If you are not using the eduroam CAT tool, please start using it by requesting access through your roaming operator. If you *are* using eduroam CAT, but the users in question are not, please encourage them to download the geteduroam app and configure their phones with that. If your students fail with this, then there may be a problem with your profile on CAT.

With kind regards

Hello, we have been a member university of eduroam since 2010. Some of our Android (new versions) users cannot connect to eduroam. What can we do about this? I would be happy if you help. Thank you.
