Is this change going to apply just to the windows installer? Or to other platforms (iOS, Android, MacOS) also?

On all those platforms, the OS does not allow the deletion of profiles not previously installed by the same app. The only thing we can do on Apple devices is "delete" onboarding SSIDs by in fact installing them, with a setting of "don't auto-connect" so that they are not chosen for connection any more. An actual deletion of the SSID you /want/ to connect to is not possible with the mobileconfig scheme.
