I think we do this in the geteduroam Windows installer? @Thorsten you could try if https://get.eduroam.org/app/geteduroam.exe does work well for this IdP, and if that's the case maybe this code can be ported into CAT?

Hi,

you are probably using EAP-TTLS. We are now using the native Windows 10 EAP handler, rather than the additional GEANTLink (which is now an option that the institution admin can set). Unfortunately we were not able to find any Microsoft documentation on how the possibility to pre-install user credentials for this method. Therefore in this one case we do not prompt for user credentials and they need to be provided at the first login.

when running the new CAT installer for Windows 10 we’re no longer asked for username and password

during the CatInstaller setup. Instead when connecting to eduroam for the first time we’re asked to provide

the username and password then.

Is that a new feature ? If yes, what’s the purpose behind it ?
