Hi
We've recently had a few users complain that neither the eduroam CAT app nor the new geteduroam app are in the HUAWEI AppGalaxy store. (Nor for that matter is the eduroam companion app from Jisc.)
The AppGalaxy store (https://appgallery.huawei.com/) was Huawei's response to the trade ban that forced Google to remove their access to the Play store. It is the only way to install apps on newer Huawei phones released post 2019.
Huawei might have a relatively small market share globally, but they have quite a large market share in Africa (for reference, it is approximately 30% in South Africa). Thus the lack of apps in this store disproportionately affects certain markets.
Could I ask that these apps get added to the AppGalaxy store, and that new releases are routinely published there too?
