Hi, Your Chrome/Firefox problem looks like a mystery. eduroam is
about the connection to the network. All your network applications
should either work or not work. I cannot see any network level
reason for one browser not working when the other does.
I see that EAWAG CAT profile is installing two root CAs, one of them is about to expire, but this should net be causing any issues. On Windows I do not see any installation errors, juts two warnings about the CA certificate to be installed. Yours Tomasz Wolniewicz

Good day,
I'm working at the Eawag in Switzerland. I run Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04.2 in dual boot.
For each of both operating systems I installed a new eduroam certificate as required by our administration (from: https://cat.eduroam.org/).
On Windows some Certificate Installation Error occured and on Linux everything went fine except I cannot connect to eduroam anymore. And If I use a LAN connection Firefox doesn't load webpages anymore (Chrome does).
As I am working on Linux 95% of the time and Firefox is my go-to browser. This is a bit of a bummer...
Do you have any clue what could be the cause of this?
