Hi,
I've seen the Android app has been available for a while on F-Droid now.
This is good. (Have I missed an announcement?)
Now, as a non-Google user, I have three options to download the apk:
1. The "old" download location
https://cat.eduroam.org/eduroamCAT-stable.apk
still works, but yields an outdated version
2. F-Droid
https://f-droid.org/de/packages/uk.ac.swansea.eduroamcat
currently delivers version 1.2.55
3. Github
https://github.com/GEANT/CAT-Android/releases/download/1.2.12/CAT-Android2-release.apk
gets me version 1.2.12
Is there a policy what releases are pushed to F-Droid, and when this is done?
The old download link has already caused some confusion: We used to
distribute it
for quite a while. One of our support students kept it, not noting the changes
and started producing a support video which explained how the get the app
from there ...
Given the other options, I think you could just remove it or replace it with
a redirect?
Cheers, Martin
