Hello,

I am a program manager for product development of HP’s line of inkjet products such as HP Desk and HP Envy printers. We have customers who have purchased HP printers and attempt to connect them to eduroam WIFI in schools. Through my scouting work, I understand this requires the printer to support 802.1x which I am in the process of evaluating the technical work required.

I wish to find out:

Can CAT securely transfer the certificates needed to a printer over BLE or WiFi-Direct connection?
If enabling 1. above requires development work, is it possible for this request to be supported for iOS and Android devices to setup the printer?
