This is Jon Agland from the UK federation team at Jisc.

Whilst we don't operate either the Service Provider for eduroam CAT or your Identity Provider, and the UK federation being a full-mesh SAML federation we have no view of the interaction between the two, we may still be able to provide some guidance on this one.

Do you want to drop us a line to service AT ukfederation.org.uk (and/or my direct email), with the full details of the error message you are seeing an the name of the Identity Provider you are trying to access the service from? I'm noting that there are two Ravensbourne Identity Providers registered in the UK federation (as a result exported to eduGAIN).

Using our Test Service Provider at https://test.ukfederation.org.uk and clicking "UK federation Central Discovery Service", and sending us the result (or providing the date/time of access, so we can look in the logs), may provide some insight too.
