Hi,

are there any plans to add support for wired eduroam to the Linux 
installer? So far, I have only tried the Network Manager variety,
on Ubuntu 18.04. For WiFi, it is exactly what I hoped for.
There's even an important detail that, in contrast, Network Manager's
manual configuration dialog is missing: The manual dialog does not 
provide any means to check the server name the certificate
was issued to. The Linux installer does get this right by using
altsubject_match.
