I got it working with just connecting manually with the CA cert provided by the installer.

Howevwr it finished without errors.

Hi,    the Linux installer should definitely work on Ubuntu 18.04. Tie installer interacts with Network Manager trough the NM Python API. After the installer is run, you should see the network configuration in the Network settings. You should also see the configuration in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/eduroam  (admin rights are required to view the contents). You should not expect to see any changes in /etc/wpa_supplicants. Do you have Network Manager active on your system or is it perhaps turned off? Does the installer end successfully or does it show some error?
