Hi
We provide a setup SSID across campus that has access to the Google play
store, eduroam CAT, Microsoft store (to unlock S mode laptops), Apple and
Microsoft updates. If a device cannot connect to eduroam after rerunning
the CAT tool with confirmed username/password etc the next step for our
helpdesk staff is to update the system. Anecdotal feedback from helpdesk
staff is that updating does solve some problems (usually on Windows) but we
have never attempted to measure the numbers. Also given the variety of error
messages on different platforms/versions we would be guessing at least some
of the time as to what was solved.
