Hello,

When a new version of eduroam CAT is released (like the new version 2.0.0) are the eduroam CAT installers for each organisation updated automatically, or does an organisation need to access their Profiles and re-tick the "Production-Ready" tick box for the new version to be available from the CAT website?

All installers are generated on the fly - when the download button is pushed. We do keep a cache of identical installers. This cache gets invalidated whenever the IdP admin makes *any* change to its IdP-wide or profile settings. We also invalidate it when touching code that affects actual installer generation - because such a change leads to a non-identical installers.

Now, with the deployment of 2.0: that was of course a code change affecting installers and all caches started out empty. The first download of a profile in your IdP led to the creation of a new installer for you. All settings in IdP and Profile have been ported from 1.1 to 2.0 though, so you don't have to re-visit your settings. New installers come out of the system automatically.

Of course, if you downloaded the installers and made them available directly on your own support website - those don't update automatically :-)
