Hi Jon

I can get in without any issues (and administer our CAT tool), however Katherine also needs to be administer our CAT tool. I’ve been advised that I should see an ‘Add user’ button under the Administrator Management tab, but as you can see when I log in it’s blank

Regards

Ian

Hello Katherine,

(copied in Ian)

Ian, you should be able to go to

Click "eduroam:admin manage your IdP".  you then need to authenticate using whichever method he used previously

a) that might eduGAIN aka via UK federation, so the University of Oxford IdP ("WebAuth" or "University of Oxford Single Sign-On system." as is described on it's login page)

b) If you don’t see the profile you were expecting e.g. for "University of Oxford" then it might be a different authentication method has been used, such as Social Media - Google, Linkedin etc..

If you can't work that out, then it might be that you have lost access to the account entirely?  In which case reply to your Jisc ticket and the eduroam UK should be able to trigger a new invite for Ian.

I hope this helps!

Cheers,

Jon

I wish to becoming an institution administrator for eduroam CAT for the University of Oxford. My colleague, Ian Teasdale, who already is an administrator, has been trying to instigate this but so far no luck. I’m unclear on what I need to do in order to get edit access to our CAT settings

Any help much appreciated,

Katherine Craddock
