Hello,

many operating systems are rather conservative when it comes to allowing
a configuration profile to remove third-party configuration.

So, we're doing what we can to realise the disabling of a network, and
it varies from platform to platform.

You were talking about Mac (which is also relevant for iOS): Apple does
not allow a configuration profile to /remove/ an SSID. It does allow to
/add/ one with the flag "Do not connect automatically". This effectively
disables the SSID as it's not being used unless the user takes manual
action to tap it.

It may need one WiFi On/Off cycle to get done; I don't know that from
the top of my head.

It doesn't matter if you set this IdP-wide or per-profile; the effect is
the same.

Greetings,

Stefan Winter
