Answering your question form the previous mail. There has been a
code change in how the credentials are passed to the profile. This
may be causing a problem with special characters, will need to test. Sorry about that. Tomasz W dniu 07.09.2017 o 09:40, FASEL Samuel

Hi,
Sorry but I come back with the problem of yesterday….
In fact, there is a problem with all windows exe files (version 1.1.5)…. I tried several exe from several another universities and it’s always the same result…
Symptom of the problem: In fact, if the user has a symbol « & » or « £ » in his password, the identifiers aren’t recorded in the eduroam profil and an error appears… perhaps, there is also problem with an another symbol, but I didn’t try all….
With an old exe file (version 1.00), these two symbols didn’t create an error….
Could anyone report this problem to "Eduroam cat" developers?
Thanks for your help Best regards

Hi,
At University of Fribourg (Switzerland), many of our students download via the “Eduroam CAT portal” the “eduroam profil” for our university…. But today, we have a problem with all windows exe files… Our exe files « eduroam-W7-UdF.exe », « eduroam-W8-UdF.exe » and « eduroam-W10-UdF.exe » doesn’t install the eduroam profil correctly… An error appears when the tool wants to install the identifiers (look the picture in attachment)… The eduroam profil is installed on the system but the identifiers are empty… We must re-enter identifiers when we connect us to SSID eduroam for it to work…. Before that, our old exe files worked very nice…
Could you help us? Did you do a modification in these exe files ? Do you know this problem ?
Thanks for your help Best regards
