Hello,

what you describe below looks like CAT sounds like the installation with
CAT worked correctly (which would make the mail off-topic to this list).

You should first talk to the IT support inside your university so they
can check if their authentication infrastructure locally has a problem.
They can help you with all local issues (e.g. wrong username/password etc.).
