Thank you for your response.

I solved the problem last night after sending my email.

I am physically at the ESRF and realized at some point that I should probably make the installation of the UGA installer through VPN, and it worked.

I have tested your installer on my Windows and it works without a problem. I realise this does not help you very much. :).
If you kill the installer manually, will eduroam work OK? If not, can you got to the settings of wireless networks and see if there is an eduroam profile installed?

We could work from there to see if the problem could be located.
