I would advise using the latest stable version as a minimum - 3.0.11
but your current issue as reported by Stefan is the RADIUS server certificate
in use.... not the server itself.

make a SHA-256 server cert, ensure CA contraint is false and have a valid URL
in
the CRLDP - check the eduroam WIKI for server cert
