Sorry, I realise now that my reply was, while factually correct, not
very constructive. Let me propose actual ways of overcoming the problem.

1) Buy a new computer. They usually come equipped with a contemporary
version of Windows (Windows 10, 4 generations newer than XP). CAT
supports Windows 10.

2) Install a recent and supported Linux distribution on your computer. I
personally use openSUSE Leap 42.1, but there are many to choose from.
CAT support Linux.

3) Keep using your old PC, in the risk that it gets infected, your
identity stolen, or abused as a bot therewith either sending spam to
everyone on the planet or participating in other criminal activities.

Your local IT department may assist you with any of the three; it is
however beyond the scope of the CAT product to do so.
