Hello,

> I am not able to connect to eduroam at St Andrews un the UK.

We got an email request on the general eduroam help mail address earlier
today of a Warwick user not getting service at St. Andrews, but a
different mail address - maybe that was you anyway?

The issue you report is always a local hotspot problem - they are not
assigning an IP address even though you are authenticated. The links you
provided point to other specimen of the same problem manifesting itself
in another time and space.

In any case: using the web form /is/ the better approach. This mailing
list here is specific to the provisioning tool "eduroam CAT". You don't
have a provisioning problem because your screenshot clearly states that
you authenticated successfully.

This morning's query, I've forwarded the query to the eduroam National
Roaming Operator in the U.K. (JISC) to investigate. If you were the
reporting person, you will probably hear from them soon.

If you are not that person and are a second, independent account also
affected by this potential service outage at St. Andrews: JISC people
are also in this list :-)

Greetings,

Stefan Winter
