My helpdesk at Warwick have not been able to identify the cause of this issue, however, I see that it is not a new issue, reaching back to at least 2009:

See, for example:

Given this, it would seem that this is not an isolated issue and one for which eduroam would provide steps to address.

I understand that this is a distributed system and that this makes it much more difficult to troubleshoot, however, given that the issue that I am reporting goes back to 2009, based on the posts above, it is disappointing to see that you have not provided a set of troubleshooting steps for your affiliates so that member users can actually use the service when travelling. This lack of response and support from you defeats the purpose of having a distributed network as I and other users cannot access it when we should be able to do so.

I would therefore be grateful if you could look into this issue with a bit more rigour so that this ongoing, persistent issue can be identified and steps to correct it can be taken.

Kind Regards,
