Dear Tryfon,
RARE/freeRtr is being mentioned in debates about inter-domain routing extensions with
"colorful" transport, for example to support "network slicing" as proposed in
5G.
For example, Anton Elita (Juniper) sent a note[1] to the IETF idr
(inter-domain routing) WG mailing list about BGP-CT interop tests between
Juniper's JunOS and RARE/freeRtr.
It includes a pointer to the 2023 EANTC Interop Test report[2], which was published this this Monday on the start of the MPLS SD & AI World Congress in Paris[3], where the RARE/freeRtr/G ANT logo was also visible at EANTC's demo booth - I think Fr d ric has photos somewhere.
So... onwards and upwards (direction Mt. Everest? ;-) for RARE!
Cheers,
--
Simon.
