let me explain this a bit further... so srv6 rfcs does not restrict one to
express a segment as ::ffff:x.x.x.x
freerouter can abuse this weakness through normal configuration knobs to
express an srv6 dataplane over ivp4
nexthops... but the reverse is also true, so ldp and rsvp rfcs have good
support for ipv6 mpls core and freerouter
implements this all, so one can provide a vpls or an evpn over an ipv6-only
mpls core...
obviously none of the above are the case for vendor boxes who implement tons
of unnecessary checks to restrict you...
