Hi all,

The BF2556X has a Microsemi VSC7440 SoC switch connected with 2x10G to the
Tofoino on ports 57/2 and 57/3. These ports match to sdn66 and sdn67.
DUB0021#show p4lang p4 port-names | include -57

64 frontpanel-57/0
65 frontpanel-57/1
66 frontpanel-57/2
67 frontpanel-57/3

I can configure these two ports as follows:
interface sdn66
description "Tofino 57/2 10G to Microsemi VSC7440"
mtu 1500
macaddr 0071.1723.616e
no shutdown
no log-link-change
exit
!
interface sdn67
description "Tofino 57/3 10G to Microsemi VSC7440"
mtu 1500
macaddr 006d.3622.7504
no shutdown
no log-link-change
exit
!

But the interfaces stay down.

Is there a way to enable these ports via freerouter?
From bfshell
57/2 |32/2|
66|0/66|-------|----|--|--|YES|---|---|--------|----------------|----------------|-
57/3 |32/3|
67|0/67|-------|----|--|--|YES|---|---|--------|----------------|----------------|-

I can enable the port by doing the following from bfshell
port-add 57/3 10G NONE
And
port-enb 57/3
57/3 |32/3| 67|0/67|10G |NONE|Au|Au|YES|ENB|UP | NONE | 64|
0|
This says the 10G interface is now up.

But from the freerouter cli I get the following:
DUB0021#show interfaces sdn67 | include sdn67

sdn67 is down

APS-Networks have a script which can be run on boot which configures the
VSC7440 switch and the PTP commands. It would be nice, if we could configure
the interfaces in freeRouter CLI and PTP via the APS script, but this may not
be possible.

On the VSC7440(you connect via ttyS1) I can see the port 10G port is up
between the Tofino and the VSC7440.
# show int 10GigabitEthernet 1/2 status
Interface Mode Speed & Duplex Flow Control Max Frame
Excessive Link
---------------------- ------- -------------- ------------ ---------
--------- --------
10GigabitEthernet 1/2 enabled 10Gfdx disabled 10240
Discard 10Gfdx Fiber

"10Gfdx Fiber" is link Up.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Regards
Eoin
