The Hydra CI builds will continue to run including the caches.  The
recent hickup was due to Nix never throwing anything away by
itself which filled up /nix/store on the cache. I'll deploy a job that
only keeps the last 50 RARE-NIX builds or so and garbage-collects the
older ones. That should keep the system running indefinitely :)

As you mentioned, it's always possible to build everything locally in
case the cache fails (provided that one has access to the SDE and BSP
source code).
