hi,which is not true fortunately, http://sources.freertr.org/cfg/rout-bgp179.tst
yeahh, you can configure it to originate a policy-map.. they start with
http://sources.freertr.org/cfg/qos-copp13.tst and the next some are such...
over this, you can have a "router uni2flow x" stanza where you can
redistribute
arbitrary routes (normally after route-policy/route-map filtering), then these
will appear on the local vrf's flowspec table, then you can further
redistribute
these resulting routes to bgp to distribute network-wide...
(for that latter imho there is not yet a test case simply because the
redistribution
is solved globally, and that parts are well tested, and all the remaining
functionality
of that router process is also just reuses the other flowspec parts...)
for the rescue... :)
you can spin it up locally on your machine by issueing the following:
wget freertr.org/rtr.zip
unzip rtr.zip
cd src
./c.sh
./tw.sh rout-bgp179
telnet localhost 20001
telnet localhost 20002

Hi mc36,
I am just trying FreeRtr and I have a question about the implementation of
bgp flowspec.
I would like to know if it is possible to configure Freertr as a controller
and not a client mode.
If yes, is there documentation ? sorry about my question but can't find in
test examples (matching criteria).
ps: sorry, I didn't know where to go to ask my question
Emma
