No worries, I have access to the APS repo. I should have mentioned
that the 6064 is already supported in BSP-less mode in the current
RARE build :)

APS hasn't dropped the BSP for the 2556. In fact, the whole gearbox
thing was re-written. I basically have this ready but couldn't finish
testing on the the device in Rio (thus the 2556 is currently also
supported in BSP-less mode).
