hi,
so if we're talking exclusively about software switching, then here imho its
doable however would ruin the performance,
but if we start talking about tofino, imho one cannot do an arbitrary json
matcher... the best i can think about is that
you specify an offset and a value that needs to be there to match...

Hi Csaba,
The idea is to do the same as we did with the flow label (count and forward)
but now by using the UDP payload.
Here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1x9JsZ7iTj44Ta06IHdkwpv5Q2u4U2QGLWnUeN2Zf5ts/edit <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1x9JsZ7iTj44Ta06IHdkwpv5Q2u4U2QGLWnUeN2Zf5ts/edit> in page 10 there is an example here the payload contains a JSON schema and we will be interested in context -> experiment-id and context -> activity-id.
For now I only need to know if this is possible or not, even if it s not
yet implemented.
Thanks,
Carmen Misa

hi,
it cannot at the moment... exactly what protocol do you want to match?

Hi,
I would like to know if in freertr there is a possibility to match, count and
forward packets according to the payload of an UDP packet.
Thanks,
Best regards,
Carmen Misa
