Thanks. However, we should be careful not to break builds that still
require Python2. We are currently stuck with SDE 9.5 if we want to
support the APS boxes (due to the BSP). If the new bf_forwarder does
not work with Python2 (and I think at least the change isAlive() ->
is_alive() is of that kind, but could be wrong), we will not be able
use it unmodified in deployments based on SDE 9.5.
