I think I sent this to the developers list by mistake:
We are getting reports from users that they are receiving an error when they attempt to configure a device for eduroam using the geteduroam app.
The configuration is the for PEAP-MSCHAPv2 profile
I believe that Android users are getting the following message (waiting on our help desk to confirm its android):
"Cannot complete the request. Unable to resolve profile configuration. Please check your connection and try again."
When I try to connect using the geteduroam app on my iphone (17 Pro Max with iOS 26.5.1) I get this error:
“Failed to connect No valid client certificate in configuration”
Connecting to eduroam through the normal iOS wireless connection process is successful.
I have been experimenting with using the geteduroamapp and the letswifi portal server, but I have been using a separate profile for that. That is working. I’ve checked the PEAP-MSCHAPv2 profile and don’t see anything wrong. However, I’m sure it’s something missing on my end with the profile configuration.
The only other thing I can think of is that Sectigo ( who we use via the Internet2 Incommon Certificate Service) has been migrating to new Root CA and Signing Certificates. Root CAs are supposed to be cross-signed to maintain compatibility, but we have had issues with cross-signed certificates in the past.
Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! -Neil
