I see that the search bug has not been resolved yet in this beta release.
That is, when you search a word and accept the android suggestion
containing a trailing whitespace, the search results are inconsistent
and return a plethora (seems always the same) of institutions not
containing that searched word at all.

Hi geteduroam-list,
We now published version 1.1.0 for Android in the open-beta/testing
channel of the Play Store. Testing is only useful if you have Android
12 or 13.
It works a lot like 1.0.23 released as beta earlier, except that it
targets only Android 12+ since we cannot guarantee the new version
works reliably on all Android 11 phones. (There was a bug in the
initial Android 11 release and some OEMs did not fix.)
Please test it if you can, we had to make some changes, and want to be
sure it works as expected. We plan to release this version in the
first week of September.
As a reminder, this beta can be joined from Android using:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.eduroam.geteduroam
or the web via:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.eduroam.geteduroam
Devices with Android 11 or lower continue to receive version 1.0.16
after the release.
Regards,
Paul and Jørn
