Dear All,

I'm happy to announce that version 2.0 of the eduGAIN Attribute Release 
Check (EARC) is ready and scheduled for production deployment on July 6.

The new version of EARC supports tests for much more Entity Attributes 
and Categories compared to the current one, as well as Attributes and 
Authentication Context Classes. Available tests are:

- No Entity Categories
- REFEDS Anonymous Access Entity Category
- REFEDS Pseudonymous Access Entity Category
- REFEDS Personalized Access Entity Category
- REFEDS Code of Conduct v2 Entity Category
- REFEDS Research and Scholarship Entity Category
- European Student Identifier Entity Category
- REFEDS Assurance Framework
- REFEDS Single Factor Authentication Profile
- REFEDS Multi-Factor Authentication Profile

The new version of EARC is based on the SWAMID Release Check codebase 
and it has been developed by a great team composed by Björn Mattsson 
(SUNET), Valentin Pocotilenco (RENAM) and Andrijana Todosijevic (AMRES).

The current version of EARC will be set to readonly mode by July 3 and 
it will remain available for a few weeks in order to consult the results 
of the latest checks, then it will be put offline and archived.
