Dear All,

 

I’m pleased to welcome China / CSTCloudFederation and Slovakia / safeID as the 71^st and 72^nd members of eduGAIN.

 

The voting deadline of 8 May passed with both results in the affirmative.

 

The eduGAIN Operations Team (OT) will make the necessary arrangements to update the status page https://technical.edugain.org/status.php and liaise with the federations on supporting its participation in eduGAIN.

 

Additionally, the deputies + delegates from CSTCloudFederation and safeID have been added to the eduGAIN-SG mailing list.

 

Thanks to the work of all Steering Group members in voting, assessing the federations and providing them feedback and the work of our newest member in working toward participating in eduGAIN.

 

The summary for CSTCloudFederation:

 * 44 votes cast

 * 29 in the affirmative

 * 12 abstain

 

The summary safeID:

 * 44 votes cast

 * 36 in the affirmative

 *   2 abstain

 

 *   3 federations (YETKIM, HAKA, RoEduNetID) regain their right to vote.
