Dear Lukas,

Thanks for your feedback

As at current RiċerkaNET Identity Federation is a full mesh federation.

In regards to the website, more data will be available as we move forward. The plan is that it will be integrated with the University website together with RicerkaNet which is the NREN. All the information you mentioned will be made available. Let me know if it is a show stopper for getting the Identity Federation approved from your side.

Regards
Daniel

I had a quick look at the Identity Federation Policy and the Metadata
Registration Practice Statement, which both use the REFEDS-provided
templates. No comments there. I also had a look at RiċerkaNet's
Acceptable Use document, which is referenced in the Identity Federation
Policy. No comment on that either.

For being a (self-declared) production federation I find, however, there
is very little information available on the web page, which just
consists of the two above-mentioned documents. I'm aware that Malta is a
very small country and only few institutions will ever be part of the
federation but a simple web page with at least some contact information,
a pointer to metadata (and signing key information) is something I would
miss as a Service Provider (e.g. publisher) who wants to offer services
to Maltese higher education users.

Also I am wondering if the RiċerkaNET Identity Federation is a full mesh
federation, hub & spoke or central login federation.

Best Regards
Lukas
