Hi all,
I have a question about the functionality that enables a WiFi connection on
Windows 11
_before_ the user has logged on to the machine (regardless of local or domain
account).
It seems that in _some_ cases the Windows supplicant is not reliable,
resulting in
intermittent authentication failures (only at the beginning, once the
connection is
there, it remains stable).
When things are not working, we do not see any EAP request from the respective
WiFi MAC address on the RADIUS server. Instead, the user is always prompted to
enter their credentials again, as if e.g. the password had been mistyped.
On the same device, It might very well work the next day -- which will perhaps
users shy away from asking at the helpdesk.
Has anyone else observed this kind of behavior?
Mit freundlichen Grüßen/Kind regards
Martin Pauly
