Hi,

  have you used the installer from cat.eduroam.org or perhaps the geteduroam for Windows one?

CAT installers use standard Windows commands like netsh to install certificates and wireless profiles. They really have no way to touch system settings like desktop icons or toolbar.

Dear Eduroam Team,

After installation of the eduroam profile from university Göttingen my Laptop started to do strange things. The desktop icons disappeared and the toolbar at the bottom started to move and to stretch into different direections. Then the laptop started to try to install drivers from Intel. Back at home I tried to finish the installation, but the drivers seem to not really exist.

I installed the eduroam after freshly installing windows 11 together with the microsoft support within the university of Göttingen. I do not have these kind of problems when I use the GWDG certificate instead.
