I hope you’re doing well. I usually have no trouble using eduroam on DCU’s campus or at other institutions abroad. However, I’m currently at the ESTEC/ESA facility in the Netherlands and I’m encountering an “Unable to connect to network” error when trying to use their eduroam service.
Interestingly, my phone connects to eduroam without any issues, so the problem seems specific to my laptop. Some users (both from DCU and elsewhere) can connect without problems, while others are experiencing similar difficulties. Since the local Wi-Fi blocks SSH connections, I need to rely on eduroam to access my wireless server for coding.
I’ve already contacted the IT departments at both DCU and ESTEC, and they suggested I get in touch with you directly. I’ve also tried restarting my eduroam configuration, but the issue persists.
Could you please advise on any possible solutions or troubleshooting steps? I’d greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Dominik
