Hi Simon,

The UM page with information on eduroam [1] is only accessible to the signed
in users. It's likely this UM info page on eduroam explains what credentials
UM users should choose to be able to authenticate for network access (both at
UM premises & in roaming).

While the username part resembles an email address (i.e. a userid and a realm
with at sign "@" separating the two) the username doesn't have to be exactly
the same as your UM email address. Please, check the UM instructions or
consult you local UM support [2] to be sure you are using the right
credentials.
