You should not be using the 'eduroam CAT' app on Android 14. Use
'geteduroam'. Geteduroam has been the recommended app since 2021. It does
exactly what the old app did, but it has a better user interface and it is
designed for Android 8 and later. It is in active development.

We now have an increasing number of users (including myself) who have
Android 14 on their smartphones.


Unfortunately, the Eduroam CAT app [1] does not work on this OS
version, as the necessary authorizations are not requested by the app.


It may also be related to [2].


The app has not received any updates on GitHub for over 5 years. Is it
still being developed at all?
