Hi Mary,

 

Unless your Android phone is running Android 8 or earlier, you should be using the 'geteduroam' app instead of the 'eduroam CAT' app.

 

The requirement for a screen lock is something only the 'eduroam CAT' app did, so switch to geteduroam and that requirement should go away.

Hello,

 

There is an ongoing issue with the Eduroam CAT app for android phones. The app will not properly install the certificate and gives an error message stating that the phone needs a screen lock. This occurs even when the phone has a screen lock. Please work to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
