Many thanks for checking into this so speedily Stefan.

I could download using a Windows laptop, no problem.

I gathered that the issue was evident when using a Chrome OS device.

Our Stefan P has checked with a Chrome OS device and that works…

Looks like some other issue.

I tried multiple organisations' ChromeOS downloads right now, and they work as expected.

 

Also University of Abertay Dundee (is that the one?). Attached is the perfectly fine ONC file I got.

We’ve just had a problem reported from a university (Abertay) that after creating a profile on CAT (which looks fine) tested downloading the Chrome OS option and they report that the page just flashes but never kicks off the download of the onc file. They tried this for a few different other Universities on the cat.eduroam.org out of curiosity, and got the same result. The user downloads counter on the organisation’s Org Overview page confirms that there have been zero Chrome OS downloads.

 

CAT profile includes:

  1. root and two inter CA certs (Comodo AAA, USERTrust RSA and GEANT vereniging);
  2. EAP type only PEAP/MSCHAPv2
  3. Profile setting - enforce a realm suffix in username

 

They have tested profile downloads for android apple and windows - all far have worked fine.

 

Anyone had similar experience?  Any ideas?

What makes you think so? Do you get any error message to that effect when trying to install?
