Hi Tomasz

Thank you for this precise answer.
Do you know if I can force the usage of builtin windows  TTLS for windows 10 clients in CAT ?
Otherwise I will try to make a specific installer.

Last point, you think I can make the CAT not to store the user password ?
In the CAT admin interface ?

Thanks for all
Regards

Hi,

I think you are talking about installation of GEANTLink software. This installs a new EAP method handler in the system therefore requires admin rights. If you want to avoid that then you need to force the usage of voultin TTLS for Windows 10. GEANTLink will still be needed for Windows 7, therefore admin rights will be needed there.

Not saving password is really questionable for the usage point of view. Prompting user for a password at every re-authentication is just not doable. With GEANTlink it would probably be possible to cache the password for a longer session, but with other supplicants on various systems we do not have any control and normally the password gets saved by the system.

Not saving the password during installation would just postpone that to the first eduroam access.

Hello

The use of CAT seems to require administrator rights (GIANT certificate part ?).
Is it possible to configure CAT for a non administrator installation ?

(we use TTLS / PAP configuration for windows 10 clients).

In addition, is it possible not to save the password of the user?

Thanks
