Hello,

I tried to read up on this a bit. I found an interesting thread in the
Apple discussion forums:

It seems to be the case that 802.1X support is *in principle* in the
device, but incredibly buggy.

If anything, there is a glimpse of a possible workaround in those posts
where you'd turn off Cellular before trying to install and use Wi-Fi.
And turning on Cellular again might kill your configuration and you're
back to square 1. And/or rebooting might help if you lose the ability to
reconnect.

To be honest, I think it's best to wait until this feature is actually
stable before investigating much further.
