Are you going to the website https://cat.eduroam.de ? That deployment is
based on CAT 1.1 and is currently being phased out. Your university
should migrate to https://cat.eduroam.org which has an entirely revamped
UI, also for small devices.

The app has an in-app workflow to choose the IdP and download the
profile entirely without a browser. This works better for profiles
already migrated to https://cat.eduroam.org than it does for
https://cat.eduroam.de

You can always download the file with a real computer ;-) and send it to
your Android device via email or USB transfer, Bluetooth, etc. The app
also has an import button to import a configuration profile from the
filesystem.
