Hello,

I'm happy to announce that we've just created the CAT-2.0.0-beta2 release.

As discussed earlier, this release is the one we will be deploying on
cat.eduroam.org, with a unified database that includes the German IdPs
previously listed on cat.eduroam.de.

This release ships with translations in 14 languages in total, two of
which are shipping for the first time (welcome Estonian and Turkish!).

The full list of languages is (by their ISO language codes):

BG, CA, CS, DE, HR, HU, EL, EN, ES, ET, FI, PL, SR, TR

A big Thank You to all the translators who put their effort into this!

As for the deployment on cat.eduroam.org:

This is done as a two-stage upgrade - the host needs an upgrade to PHP 7
first, followed by an update of the actual CAT code and database content.

With that, please take note of the following service announcements:

- IdP administrators can make changes to their IdP and profile data up
to and including Tuesday 02 Oct 2018 (end of business)
- Changes after that point in time can be made, but are at risk of being
rolled back in case there are issues with the upgrade
- There will be a short downtime of the service in the morning hours of
Wednesday while PHP is being upgraded. The service (old codebase) should
however continue to run on the new PHP version. Please report any issues
you observe on Wednesday directly to me, off-list.
- The actual upgrade will occur on Thursay 0800-1000 CEST. The service
will be unavailable during parts of or the entire window.
- The end of the upgrade will be announced; from then on, IdPs can
resume making changes to their IdP and profile data.
