Thanks for the abundance of politeness in your mail.

Counter-question: do you sometimes read the things that are displayed on
your computer screen? Like, on the download page of eduroam CAT when you
click on an Android device:

"Before you proceed with installation on Android systems, please make
sure that you have installed the eduroamCAT application. This
application is available from <link>Google Play</link>, <link>Amazon
Appstore</link> and as <link>local download</link>, and will use the
configuration file downloaded from CAT to create all necessary settings."

Where the text "local download" is underlined - a so-called "hyperlink"
- and it delivers the APK immediately.
