This mailing list is specific to the eduroam Configuration Assistant
Tool (CAT), not general usage questions about eduroam.

Since you can apparently log into eduroam, this is not an eduroam CAT
problem.

That said, the further steps for you would be to contact the service
provider (i.e. the hotspot operator) and ask him to check if they open
the required so-called "TCP ports" to reach GMail. eduroam policy
requires that all the ports needed to contact GMail are open on every
eduroam hotspot, so you can request that they do open them in case they
are not already open. Should they not react as required, you can contact
the national roaming operator for your country (in Portugal, FCCN) to
escalate the issue.
