the vendor's help page on that alert reveals that it is only a heuristic
detection (i.e. something looks vaguely suspicious). They give it a risk
level 1 "Very Low".

It occasionally happens that virus scanners mis-classify our software
because it changes system settings (but well, that's its purpose!). This
heuristics was added recently to Norton (Nov 2015) and maybe it isn't
very precise yet.

Can you please send me a copy of the file for further inspection? I
would send it to Norton for whitelisting on their side so that future
users aren't bothered with this.
