Well I *am* the manager of the list and wrote that to the list earlier.
Others have also done so a couple of times.

This morning, I took manual action to remove all those who spoke up.
That kind of handholding burns time I need for other things though.

I'm really sorry that the mailing list manager software migration turned
a good number of "permitted senders" into "subscribers" and apologise
for the inconvenience.

But at some point, it would really be great if the people affected could
simply *follow the instructions* like the above.
