it could fire up a browser pointed at http://cat.eduroam.org perhaps

I wouldnt want the user to have to type in their username (with realm!)
twice in the process...they should be able to just select their organisation
on that interface...

side-effect of having it set in a profile rather than the user just adding
name/password..
or what version of android is this and on what platform? why is it not taking
the
're-enter your password' prompt - i take it your RADIUS server *IS* sending
that prompt to the user if they have incorrect password ..and that the
'prompt'
you are talking about its just the basic 'OS has given up on this attempt'
re-prompt?

the OS (android) doesnt have any hooks for that kind of stuff IIRC....the
profile
is also just a profile and doesnt have any link to fire up some App if things
arent right - what you've got via the App is pretty much the sam as what you
get
with eg XpressConnect from Cloudpath

local user education? put it on your web site - "if you have problems just
re-run
the eduroamCAT App on your Android device"?
